Taking you across cultural landscapes of national value, this spectacular route crosses Kyrönjoki at seven points. The route takes you past about 70 cultural sites, including Ilmajoki Church and museum and the Ooppera-Areena event venue.
On the first Saturday of August every year, a cycling event takes place on the route, and at the same time there are open door events at farms, museums, old houses and tourist businesses. There are also guided tours in churchyards, with history of the memorials explained. The programme is published in May or June on the Visit Ilmajoki website.
Part of the route goes along public roads with no separate cycle path and very narrow roadsides.
