Ähtäri Zoo Camping is a cozy campground located on the beautiful shore of Lake Hankavesi, just a stone’s throw away from the entrance of Ähtäri Zoo. The campground offers smaller cabins named Ilves, Karhu, and Ahma, as well as larger year-round cabins called Hirvi. The area provides spots for motorhomes and tents, and during the summer, there is also a café, terrace, mini-golf course, beach, lakeside sauna, water slide, and a barbecue shelter.
The campground features 15 year-round cabins, 25 camping cabins (two of which have saunas), and 150 spots for motorhomes (71 with electricity).
High-quality vacation cabins are situated in the Ähtäri Zoo campground, in close proximity to the Zoo, the adventure amusement park Flowpark, Hotel Mesikämmen, several golf courses, and waterways.
