Completed in 1800, Jalasjärvi Church is a wooden cross-shaped church built by Salomon Köhlström (Köykkä). The church seats about 900 people. Painted by Aleksandra Frosterus-Såltin, the altarpiece is from 1906 and it depicts the transfiguration of Jesus.
The church acquired a new 30-stop organ from the German organ manufacturer Paschen Kiel Orgelbau GmbH at the end of 2011.
