Leipätie is the oldest road route from South Ostrobothnia’s lake district towards Pietarsaari. Along the route, you will find the 16-metre-high Ilveskivi rock and Myllykangas, which was already inhabited during the comb ceramic culture. Near Saarijärvi, you can see old foundations of Lappish huts, attesting to early habitation by Sámi people. The Reiski outcrop has a lean-to and a toilet. The route also has two viewing towers, on Soidinkallio and Hanhivuori.
