Bar Makasiini

Since the completion of its renovation in October 2020, Makasiini has served as an atmospheric gig venue and a pub. The building has been renovated with respect to its history, and details related to its function as an auxiliary station building have been preserved wherever possible. The venue stages concerts by top artists representing a wide range of genres. In addition, Makasiini offers plenty of other programme including darts competitions, bingo, pub quizzes and karaoke. It also serves as a venue for several well-known events, such as Makasiini Meet and Rytmiraide. The pub also has an outdoor seating area where visitors can bask in the evening sun. Makasiini is part of the Kurikka railway station property, and the two venues offer services that complement each other.
