Situated in the historical milieu of a former hospital, Restaurant Marttilan Talli offers a unique venue for meetings and other functions, in addition to serving lunch. Here, you can enjoy delicious food and friendly service.
We offer a buffet lunch between 10:30 am and 1:30 pm on weekdays. In keeping with the long traditions of Marttilan Talli, our meals are always prepared with a love for food. Whenever possible, we use locally-sourced Finnish ingredients. We can also prepare lunches for groups outside lunch hours on special agreement.
Marttilan Talli offers versatile facilities for meetings and celebrations. Our idyllic restaurant seats 150 people. Our premises are ideal for both meetings and celebrations, and our kitchen prepares refreshments in accordance with your wishes.
For events with no more than 50 guests, our pleasant upstairs space offers an ideal solution. Available for hire at all times, it is particularly suitable for daytime meetings. Our downstairs dining hall, which can seat up to 100 guests, is available for functions at weekends and on weekdays after 2 pm when our lunch service has finished. The spaces can also be used jointly for various events. The upstairs space can be connected to the downstairs dining hall via an audio-visual link, or the upstairs can serve as a dance floor for parties. Our covered, sunny terrace is ideal for small gatherings (max. 15 guests). Operating on the premises of the former stables of Seinäjoki’s regional hospital, Restaurant Marttilan Talli, which is licensed to serve alcohol, was converted to its current use as an atmospheric lunch and event venue in 1985.
