The Sarvikkas rapids on the Lapuanjoki attract visitors to the village of Ylijoki. The ruins of an old water mill can still be found in the area. The Sarvikas rapids consist of five rapids located in the village of Ylijoki in Kuortane. They are located along a 3.6-km stretch of the river. Sarvikas is situated halfway between the villages of Alavus and Kuortane, in the area of Kuortane. Fly fishing and spincasting are permitted in the area of the rapids with a fishing permit. Visitors also have access to a beach, an open fireplace, a lean-to, a cabin and a sauna.
