Travelling from Ylistaro to Peräseinäjoki, the Seinäjoki hiking route is signposted. It does not have an actual starting or end point and you can start it at any location. In most parts, the Seinäjoki hiking route runs along the Seinänaapurit nature trail, built in 1998. It also takes you through new residential areas and old villages. The route has been renovated and it has rest areas, lean-tos, Lappish huts and forest cabins. Offering accommodation on a campsite and in cabins, Kalajärvi Resort makes an ideal stop along the route.
