This nature trail traverses bogs and heathlands. It consists of forest paths that are relatively easy to navigate. Duckboards have been built across the bogs, and a short stretch of the route towards the end is covered with wood chips. A lean-to, an open fire site and a nature observation platform can be found halfway along the route. The lean-to has firewood for visitors to use. Another observation platform is located further along the route, which also has benches in several locations. An area highlighting the region’s log driving traditions maintained by the Evijärvi Association is located at the end of Uittomiehentie. The area houses a log driver’s cabin, sauna, lean-to and a jetty for swimmers. The Evijärvi Association also offers canoes and a rowing boat for hire.
